The Synthophone MIDI sax is an exclusive wind controller, offering real sax fingerings and a standard sax embrochure technique.
The Synthophone electronics are hidden inside a real alto sax: the Yamaha YAS-275.
The built-in MIDI hardware precisely translates the key action as well as breath and lip pressure into MIDI data - enabling you to play external MIDI synthesizer sounds or any virtual sounds from your computer.
Finally, you can practice at night without disturbing anyone - using headphones - there is absolutely no acoustic sound coming from the Synthophone!
